The VetWorks program, designed by Fort Wayne-based JobWorks Education and Training Systems, is held monthly in Kokomo and Lafayette.
The five-day seminar helps veterans build skill sets, learn job-search strategies, translate military experience to the civilian work force, and connect with employers. More than 60 percent of VetWorks graduates have landed a job within one month of completing the course, according to the workforce development board.
The program is held at WorkOne Employment Centers in Kokomo and Lafayette. You can find more information on the program and upcoming seminars by clicking here.
