Gaming Revenue Drops in May

The state reports adjusted gross revenue was $184 million, down from $199 million during the same month last year.
Of the state’s 13 gaming operations, only two reported increases in revenue, including Indiana Grand Casino in Shelbyville, which up $1 million to $22.6 million. Topicana Evansville saw a $600,000 increase, bringing its May total to $11 million.
Horseshoe Hammond Casino saw the biggest dip in the state, dropping $4.2 million to $34 million last month. Ameristar Casino Hotel in East Chicago fell $3.5 million to just under $18 million.
