Jake Oakman has joined Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb’s team as director of media relations. He previously served as director of communications and media relations for the Indiana Office of Tourism Development. Oakman also previously served as deputy press secretary to former Governor Mitch Daniels. Before joining state government, he worked for the Indiana University Foundation and Indianapolis Indians. Oakman earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Indiana University and was student body president his senior year.
