In addition to the previously-announced Hall of Fame preseason game, the team will play in London and on Thanksgiving Day for only the third time in franchise history.
In all the Colts will be featured three times in primetime this year:
- The first is a Sunday Night Football contest October 16 against the Houston Texans on NBC.
- Lucas Oil Stadium will be the site of the Thanksgiving night primetime game between the Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12.
- Week 13 will be a Monday Night Football on ESPN matchup between the Colts and the New York Jets.
The 2016 NFL/Hall of Fame Game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio will be August 7 and feature the Colts and Green Bay Packers on the opening night of the preseason.
The Colts will open their 2016 regular season at home September 11 against the Detroit Lions. In Week 2, they’ll travel to Denver to take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Broncos.
October 2nd, the team will play in the UK International Series at London’s Wembley Stadium against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
