Carmel-based ADESA has promoted Paul Lips (pictured) to chief operating officer of ADESA U.S. He has been with the business since 1996. Lips was previously executive vice president of operations and finance. As part of this realignment, Jay Hinchman will now serve as vice president of U.S. auction operations in the new Midwest region. He was previously general manager of ADESA Las Vegas. Geoff Parker will now serve as regional vice president in the new Midwest region. He was previously general manager of ADESA Cincinnati-Dayton.
