Whitestown Attracts Manufacturing, Tech Jobs
Two companies have announced plans to bring operations to the AllPoints at Anson industrial park in Whitestown. Swiss company REGO-FIX and Carmel-based Telamon Corp. say the projects will bring more than 70 new jobs to Boone County.
REGO-FIX, which makes parts for industries including aerospace, medical and power generation, says it will invest $3.5 million to build an 18,000 square-foot facility that will serve as the company’s U.S. headquarters. The manufacturer expects to employ up to 22 workers in Whitestown. President Andreas Weber says the company is "proud to be part of a growing and dynamic community."
Telamon says it will employ up to 50 in Whitestown as part of its telecom division. The company works with businesses in areas including telecommunications networks, outsourcing, energy management and telehealth services. Chief Operating Officer Stephanie Fuhrmann says Whitestown provides access to the highway and the company’s Carmel headquarters. She says AllPoints also provides flexibility for future expansion.
Plans from both companies are pending incentive approvals.
Whitestown Town manager Dax Norton says infrastructure and quality of life investment have helped the town attract companies like REGO-FIX and Telamon.
