Steakhouse Planned in Revamped Terre Haute Hotel

Our partners at WTHI-TV report the restaurant will open in the Holiday Inn near I-70 once the overhaul is wrapped up.
Construction began in November and is scheduled to take up to 10 months to complete. The hotel is more than 50 years old. WTHI-TV has reported the room count at the hotel will be reduced from reduce the hotel from 230 to 118 rooms.
Hotel owners announced the decision to close during the renovations, a moved that displaced 70 workers. The property is owned by Indianapolis-based General Hotels Corp.
