NWI Forum Chief Named to IEDA Board
The Indiana Economic Development Association has added a leader from northwest Indiana to its board of directors. Heather Ennis is president and chief executive officer of the Northwest Indiana Forum, which says Ennis’ experience will add to the depth of expertise of the IEDA board.
Ennis says she is "elated and eager" to begin her work on the board.
The IEDA is made up of economic developers and professionals within many industries dedicated to attracting and retaining jobs in Indiana.
"Heather is the ideal choice to represent Northwest Indiana on the IEDA Board." Dewey Pearman, chairman of the Northwest Indiana Forum Board of Directors, said. "She will provide a strong voice to help guide Indiana’s economic development vision and will continue to integrate Northwest Indiana’s economic development efforts with those of the state."
Before joining the Northwest Indiana Forum in March 2014, Ennis served as executive director of the Duneland Chamber of Commerce and president of the Duneland Economic Development Co.
