GIPC Names White Executive Director

She most recently served two terms as Marion County clerk. She also previously served as director of constituent services, public access counselor and deputy corp. counsel in the administration of former Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson. White has also chaired Marion County’s Advisory Council for Polling Place Accessibility, Marion County’s Information Technology Board, Marion County Public Records Commission, and the Indiana Clerks Association’s Legislative Committee. She was also a member of the Marion County Criminal Justice Planning Council and the Board of Julian Center. She currently serves on the Indianapolis Public Schools Educational Foundation Board. The GIPC board also recently named Jeff Gaither, Bill Shrewsberry, Michael Gargano, Ellen K. Annala, Mel Raines, and Yvonne Shaheen as officers.
