New Exec Hired at The Finish Line
Indianapolis-based The Finish Line Inc. (Nasdaq: FINL) has selected AJ Sutera to serve as executive vice president and chief information and technology officer. Sutera previously served in several leadership roles at Hudson’s Bay Co. in Canada.
The Finish Line says in his new role, Sutera will oversee the company’s "information and technology functions and digital operational solutions supporting the consumer experience."
"At Finish Line, we strive to continually foster a culture of innovation that delivers new, meaningful ways of engaging with the consumer," said Melissa Greenwell, Finish Line’s chief operating officer. "AJ has a solid background of assessing, designing and implementing award-winning solutions that have propelled the overall consumer experience. His valued insight will help us further differentiate Finish Line in the marketplace."
The company says Sutera will drive the "enterprise technology roadmap" to support its overall strategic business plan.
The announcement is the latest in a string of executive changes for The Finish Line. Last month, Greenwell was promoted to her role as executive vice president and COO. In its quarterly earnings report in January, the company announced then-President Sam Sato would replace Glenn Lyon as chief executive officer.
