Life Sciences Incubator to Open Its Doors
A life science incubator in downtown Indianapolis officially opens Tuesday. The Indiana Center for Biomedical Innovations is a partnership among the Indiana University School of Medicine, IU Health and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute.
Organizers say the center aims to help academic-based entrepreneurs commercialize their discoveries. The facility features lab space for research in areas including post traumatic stress disorder, stroke, heart disease, cancer, emphysema, regenerative medicine and pulmonary embolism.
The opening ceremony is set for 10:00 a.m. in the Noyes Pavilion at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
