Ball State Board to Discuss Presidential Search
The Ball State University Board of Trustees is discussing the search for the university’s next president. The board is searching for a successor for Paul Ferguson, who unexpectedly resigned in January.
Specific details on Ferguson’s resignation have not been made clear. At the time of the announcement, the board said it had accepted Ferguson’s request for a two-month sabbatical, after which he would resign.
The severance agreement between Ferguson and the university said the decision to part ways was mutual and discussions that led to the decision would be kept "strictly confidential." Ferguson’s official last day at Ball State will be March 25.
