The Gary SouthShore RailCats baseball team has named Phil West director of food and beverage. He comes to the RailCats from Hungry Inc., where he was the owner/operator who launched a successful food truck catering to Lake and Porter Counties. West also has extensive experience in hospitality at several Chicago hotels and restaurants. Opening Day for the RailCats’ 15th season on the South Shore is Friday, May 27th against the Joplin Blasters.
