Manufacturer Expanding in Michigan City

The Michigan City Council has approved a five-year tax abatement for the upgrade. The expansion will create 15 jobs at the more than 40,000 square-foot facility.
"We are delighted to see Central States Manufacturing expanding its operations in Michigan City, Indiana," said Michigan City Mayor Ron Meer. "The city of Michigan City continues to retain high quality companies in our community and we look forward to their continued success."
Central States Manufacturing, which manufactures metal building components, opened the Michigan City facility in 1997. The company has facilities in seven states.
