The University of Evansville has named Michael Austin executive vice president of academic affairs. He served as provost and vice president of academic affairs at Newman University in Kansas, as well as a professor of English. Austin will begin July 1. Overall, he has 15 years of experience in higher education. Austin was selected following a national search, which came down to four finalists.
