Thor Hires News Anchor

(NYSE: THO) has hired a local news anchor to launch a video production division. Our partners at FOX28 report Steve DuVal, the station’s morning news anchor, will join Thor Motor Coach next month.
DuVal said his new position will allow him to be on air and have a role behind the scenes as both a video host and content creator . He called the position with Thor a "once in a lifetime opportunity."
"The decision to leave a job that you’ve enjoyed for so many years is never easy," said DuVal. "I’ve worked with a lot of talented people and will take with me great memories of FOX28 Morning News. There’s nothing like live television, and there are things about it I will miss and people I will miss; my friends and co-workers at FOX28."
DuVal joined FOX28 in 2000. His last day on the air will be March 11. FOX28 morning news photographer Tom Shaw, will be joining DuVal at Thor Motor Coach.
"Steve is a remarkably talented broadcast journalist. His contributions to our morning news over the years have made the program must viewing for so many people in Michiana. We wish him all the best," said FOX28 News Director, Perry Boxx. "Tom is among the most talented and respected members of our broadcast family. His talent, his caring attitude and sense of humor have been an incredibly important part of getting the news to our viewers. Thor is so lucky to get him."
The station said it will announce DuVal’s replacement next month.
