The U.S. Department of Defense says the $27.3 million contract calls for the company to overhaul and repair T-63 A-720 turbine engines.
The work is expected to be completed by February 18, 2019. The DOD says the location where the work will be performed will be determined with each order.
Rolls-Royce was the only company that responded to the request for bids. The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal in Alabama is the contracting activity.
The new contract comes amid a string of extensions for other military contracts for Rolls-Royce. Last week, the company received a $118 million contract boost for engine production.
