The city is working with the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission to gather public input on the effort.
The two meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, December 24 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. and 6:00-7:30 p.m. The morning meeting will be at the Bonner Senior Center on Lexington Avenue. The evening meeting will be at Woodland Park on old Willowcreek Road.
The city has tapped consulting firm SRF to lead a feasibility study, including a citizen survey last fall. That survey gathered input on transit use and potential funding sources. During the meetings, the company will ask for more input, including travel needs and different types of transit options.
