She holds degrees from St. Mary of the Woods College and Indiana University. Clampitt has been with Harrison College since 2012, serving most recently as senior director of career services.
In the previous role, the college says she led the career services staff across all campuses as well as collection and reporting of graduate employment outcomes.
The campus is in the process of relocating to downtown Lafayette, a project that is expected to be complete this fall. Harrison’s presence began in the Tippecanoe County city in 1905 when the school was located downtown and called Lafayette Business College. The new campus will be a few blocks from the original school’s location.
Harrison College President Jim Hutton says "Cindy’s leadership and institutional knowledge is a great asset to this already thriving campus in Lafayette. Harrison’s mission is to collaborate with students, staff, faculty, alumni and our community to deliver student-centered education and prepare students for careers that positively impact society, both locally and globally. Cindy will bring this mission to life through her natural ability to quickly make deep-impacting ties within the communities she serves."
Harrison College has a total of nine Indiana locations and one in Columbus, Ohio. Students of the Lafayette campus can pursue associate and bachelor’s degrees online or in-person in more than 30 programs.
