Pence Reappoints IURC Chair

Governor Mike Pence calls Stephan a "leader with integrity," saying her "deep understanding and commitment to the commission’s work make her uniquely qualified for this role."
Stephan has significant experience in state government, including roles with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development and the Office of the Attorney General of Indiana.
Pence has also named Thomas Fite director of the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions. He has served as the organization’s deputy director since 2013. He holds his undergraduate degree from Ball State University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Pence says Fite has the "extensive experience and unmatched background knowledge" needed for the role.
