AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has expanded its coverage yet again. The company’s 4G LTE service is now available in Ligonier and Rutland.

AT&T added two new cell towers in Ligonier and one in Rutland. The expansion is part of the company’s ongoing rollout throughout the area.

"This is a tremendous investment by AT&T in our communities in Northern Indiana," said Ligonier Mayor Patty Fisel. "Whether its public safety, economic development, education or agriculture, more and more of our residents are relying on fast mobile Internet services. They’re sure to benefit from this improvement."

The company says the expansion will result in faster speeds on mobile devices and more reliability for customers. AT&T invested nearly $2 billion in its wireless and wired networks in Indiana between 2012 and 2014. Last year, the company expanded its coverage into areas including Wabash, Greendale and Kendallville.
