Ivy Tech, University in Alabama Detail Collaboration

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -

Ivy Tech Community College has reached an agreement with a school in Alabama. The partnership with Columbia Southern University involves transitioning those seeking or holding Ivy Tech associates degree in two programs to a CSU bachelor's degree pathway.

It involves business administration and criminal justice administration degrees and is eligible for any Ivy Tech student with a degree or currently enrolled in one of the programs.

Much of CSU's student body, more than 40 percent, is active-duty or veteran military. CSU touts itself as a pioneer in online education and says it began offering such courses in the mid-1990s. The school is located in Orange Beach, Alabama.
