Visit Fort Wayne expects the National Wrestling Coaches Association event to attract 10,000 fans and participants and have a $1.3 million impact on the region.
The city also hosted the National Wrestling Coaches Association Multi-Divisional National Duals Championships last year. Visit Fort Wayne says it has earned the nickname "Mat Mayhem" because it features more than 85 teams from teams in NCAA Division II and Division III, NAIA, NJCAA and the WCWA. Matches will begin Friday morning and wrap up Sunday.
