The proposed $10 million, 30,000 square-foot project at the Bloomington campus would connect to Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium.
Plans call for the project to be paid through donations to the IU Foundation. It would include a large rehearsal space and two smaller practice rooms, as well as instrument and uniform storage, a music library and other areas to support the needs of the program.
The trustees will also consider designs of projects including:
Improvements to a prominent gateway at Third Street and Indiana Avenue on the Bloomington campus.
A 30,000-35,000 square-foot, two-story building addition to the Kelley School of Business in Bloomington.
Renovations to the Sigma Nu Fraternity house in Bloomington.
A more than 45,000 square-foot, three-story addition to the IU School of Dentistry at the IUPUI campus where a parking lot currently sits.
