Hoosier Companies Score Red Herring Recognition
Two central Indiana technology companies have landed on an international publisher’s list of global innovators. CloudOne Inc. in Indianapolis and Carmel-based SteadyServ Technologies LLC are among this year’s Red Herring Inc. Top 100 Global winners, which includes businesses in North America, Europe and Asia.
Red Herring staff members considered factors including financial performance, innovation, intellectual property, "DNA" of founders, business model and customer footprint.
CloudOne says it is continuing on record growth trajectory, with higher recurring revenue in the third quarter, compared to the same period in 2014. The Internet-of-Things software provider also says it is maintaining its "aggressive" hiring pace.
SteadyServ, which has customers in 13 states and 30 employees, which could grow to more than 70 in 2016. In an October interview on Inside INdiana Business Television, Chief Executive Officer and founder Steve Hershberger also said the company is mulling a possible move to downtown Indianapolis.
Both Indiana companies were among the Top 100 North America list released earlier this year, which made them candidates for global consideration.
