Richmond Printer Growing, Adding Jobs

Subscribe NowRichmond-based Grafcor Inc. is moving a Kentucky operation to Wayne County and adding more than 30 jobs. The large format printer says it will invest $1.5 million to upgrade its building and equipment as well as train employees.
Grafcor received a $105,000 Economic Development Income Tax Grant from Economic Development Corp. of Wayne County, Indiana to support the expansion. The company says the move will also retain 17 jobs. Grafcor plans to begin hiring this year, and have the equipment installed at the Richmond facility by January.
In a release from EDC of Wayne County, President Valerie Shaffer said, "We know we are competitive, it’s always great when companies realize the benefits and assets Richmond has to offer. We’re thrilled Innomark Communications is bringing this project here."
Grafcor prints large-format displays for the retail market. It is a division of Innomark Communications, which has 9 facilities in 6 Midwest states.
