Subscribe NowSt. Andrews Products Co. in Michigan City is expanding after becoming the second business to benefit from the Michigan City Revolving Loan Fund. The promotional products maker says the $210,000 loan will allow it to upgrade equipment and create about a dozen jobs.
The company supplies promotional logo products including clothing, golf specialties and gift items. St. Andrews says the loan will also allow for building renovations and the retention of 50 jobs.
The Michigan City Revolving Loan Fund was established in 2010 and is a partnership between Economic Development Corp. Michigan City, Indiana and the Regional Development Co. in Valparaiso. Michigan City Mayor Ron Meer says he hopes to see "many more businesses" looking to invest in the city take advantage of the fund.
