$3.2M Expansion Driven by Demand, Streamlining Efforts

C&M Conveyor Inc. says the investment will centralize and streamline manufacturing at its Mitchell facility.
The project also includes a new executive office, engineering and design center in Bloomington. Chief Executive Officer Don Laipple says the expansion and consolidation will also boost capacity and make the company "ready to meet the industry’s growing demand for C&M Conveyor’s products in the future."
Over the last three years, the company says it has undergone a major initiative designed to increase productivity. It includes eight additional managers, "significant investment" in advanced manufacturing processes, equipment and engineering hardware and software.
Its U.S. and international clients are in the corrugated box, folding carton and printing industries.
