IU Kelley’s Business Outlook Tour to Kick Off
A group of panelists will again travel the state for the annual Business Outlook Tour from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. This year’s events kick off in Indianapolis and Bloomington November 5 and will include stops in eight other communities.
The presentations will include Kelley School officials, as well as other IU and local representatives. The statewide events have taken place since 1972.
Indiana Business Research Center Director Jerry Conover says "though the recovery from the Great Recession has progressed over several years, it has been a slow and often bumpy ride. Many factors, at home and abroad, make it challenging to know where the economy is headed. The Business Outlook Panel aims to clarify what to expect in 2016."
Panelists like Conover will offer insight on economies and financial markets at the global, national, state and local levels. The forecasts are based off tools honed over decades using IU’s Center for Econometric Model Research, which involve hundreds of statistical equations.
