Airline Grows Nonstop Service
American Airlines (Nasdaq: AAL) is expanding its service at Fort Wayne International Airport. A second daily flight has been added to the nonstop route between Fort Wayne and Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
FWA and American launched the Charlotte nonstops earlier this month. FWA offers nonstop flights to a total of 12 cities on four carriers, including American Airlines service to Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth and Philadelphia.
The new flights to Charlotte will use a 50-seat regional jet.
