Pence to Celebrate Toyota Anniversary

Subscribe NowGovernor Mike Pence will join executives from Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing in Columbus Thursday to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary. The company has been manufacturing forklifts in the city since 1990 and recently produced its 500,000th forklift in North America. The company employs more than 1,500 Hoosiers who manufacture 40,000 forklifts every year.
Thursday’s event starts at 10:45 a.m. Executives from TIEM’s Japanese parent company, Toyota Industries Corp. are expected to attend.
