Rosenberg to Start New Role
The Office of Mayor Greg Ballard has announced Deputy Chief of Staff David Rosenberg will join the Indianapolis Public Schools senior leadership team as operations officer. Rosenberg, who has been a part of the 360 Coalition and the citywide Pre-K program, will begin his new role October 19.
“David has played a critical role in so many of the programs and projects that have redefined Indianapolis, improved the quality of life for residents, and positioned this city as a global destination. I am delighted that he is staying in Indianapolis and will focus his expertise on the important work of providing high quality public education to our youngest generation,” Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard said.
“Indianapolis is my hometown, and having an opportunity to work in municipal government at a time of so much forward momentum has been extremely rewarding. I am eager to build on these positive experiences as I begin my next professional chapter at IPS, supporting the district’s mission to educate Indianapolis schoolchildren,” Rosenberg said.
The IPS Board of Commissioners approved his position at last month’s work session.
