Renovations Cause Layoffs at Terre Haute Hotel
A prominent Terre Haute hotel is closing for what the owner says is an "indeterminate amount of time." In a notice to the state, Terre Haute Inn Developers II LLC says it will permanently lay off 70 employees while the Holiday Inn at I-70 and U.S. 41 undergoes major renovations.
The owners say the separations will begin November 15 and take place over the course of two weeks. All workers at the location will be affected.

The hotel’s website says it includes 230 guest rooms. It is located across the street from the Honey Creek Mall.
