The president of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce has been elected to lead a prestigious industry organization. Kevin Brinegar has been named chairman of the Council of State Chambers. He is currently in the nation’s capital with a group of Indiana business and community leaders on the Indiana Chamber’s annual Washington D.C. Fly-in event.

The Fly-in will involve visits, events and discussions designed to inform the Indiana Congressional Delegation and staff members about issues involving federal bills and regulations that could affect the Hoosier economy.
The Chamber’s agenda includes passing "tax extenders," reforming the federal tax code, pushing for bipartisan governance and a multi-year transportation infrastructure plan.
