TCC Details Big East Coast Addition
An acquisition by TCC has grown the Indianapolis-based Verizon Wireless retail store owner’s footprint to 700 U.S. locations. The company has added nearly 90 We R Wireless shops in eight East Coast states. The deal is the largest in TCC’s nearly 25-year history. The company is not releasing financial details of the acquisition.
The We R Wireless stores in Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia will be rebranded as TCC. We R Wireless will hang on to its remain locations in the Northeast, as well as stores in Texas and California. Chief Administration Office Jay Sichting says "We R Wireless is a natural fit for TCC, and its performance-focused employees complement our dedication to providing top service to our customers. Together, we’ll offer a strong portfolio of wireless industry solutions."
The acquisition follows other recent deals including 37 Wireless Communications stores in the Carolinas and Georgia and 18 Phones Plus stores in the Pacific Northwest.
Last month, TCC announced it was moving its Marion headquarters to Indianapolis. The company has more than 100 employees at an office in Carmel and says it is the largest Verizon Premium Wireless Retailer in the nation.
TCC was founded in the Madison County city in 1991 and its parent company is Round Room LLC.
