Ivy Tech Community College has been recognized for its marketing. The school won five Paragon awards from the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations at its annual conference in Oregon.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College received five awards from the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR). The 2014 Paragon awards were announced during the annual NCMPR conference, which took place in Portland, Oregon. The awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges, and acknowledge institutions from across the nation.

Ivy Tech’s national awards from NCMPR include:

– Gold for Brochure – Ivy Tech Bloomington

– Silver for Feature Writing – Ivy Tech Northeast

– Bronze for Brochure Series – Ivy Tech Statewide

– Bronze for Print Ad – Ivy Tech Statewide

– Bronze for Wild Card – Ivy Tech Columbus

NCMPR is a professional organization for individuals involved in marketing, communications, public relations and enrollment management at community, junior and technical colleges. NCMPR provides professional development opportunities, advocates on behalf of the profession and the institutions it serves, and recognizes professional excellence.

Ivy Tech has earned 124 regional awards from NCMPR over the last seven years, in addition to 27 national awards for its successful branding and marketing campaigns, including best overall outdoor advertising campaign in 2008. Last year, Ivy Tech took home awards for Poster Series, Successful Recruitment and Marketing Program, and Special Event Promotion Campaign.

Ivy Tech Community College is the state’s largest public postsecondary institution and the nation’s largest singly accredited statewide community college system serving nearly 200,000 students annually. Ivy Tech has campuses throughout Indiana. It serves as the state’s engine of workforce development, offering affordable degree programs and training that are aligned with the needs of its community along with courses and programs that transfer to other colleges and universities in Indiana.
