The economic development enterprise of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians has acquired a LaPorte County-based manufacturer. D.A. Dodd has offices in Rolling Prairie, Mishawaka and Lafayette as well as a location in Michigan.

Dowagiac, Michigan -- Mno-Bmadsen, the non-gaming economic development enterprise of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, is pleased to announce the acquisition of D.A. Dodd, Inc., a mechanical trade contractor with operations in Indiana and Michigan. David A. Dodd, chief executive officer, and Mark McKnight, president, will continue to lead D.A. Dodd, both supporting its existing customers and expanding its operations.
"The acquisition of D.A. Dodd represents the Pokagon Band's ongoing commitment to the region through investments, job creation, and diversification of our tribal economy," said John P. Warren, Pokagon Band tribal chairman.

As a leader in mechanical contracting since 1995, D.A. Dodd is licensed in both Indiana and Michigan, with geographic coverage including southwest Michigan and north and central Indiana. D.A.
