Whiting is celebrating completion of a $3.2 million renovation project. The new Whiting Family YMCA ribbon cutting will be held Monday afternoon at the newly-renovated Historic Whiting Community Center.

WHITING, Ind. – The City of Whiting invites you to join us on Monday, March 30th at 3:00 p.m. for the Whiting Family YMCA Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The ceremony will take place at the newly renovated Historic Whiting Community Center located at 1938 Clark St., Whiting, IN 46394.

The City of Whiting’s Mayor Joseph M. Stahura, Crossroads YMCA CEO – Phil Mallers, Whiting YMCA Executive Director – Ed Salata, City dignitaries and renovation V.I.P.’s will lead the ceremony, and all are welcome to visit and participate.

The Y is excited, honored and thankful to have the opportunity to settle-in and develop programming for Whiting and surrounding communities at the Whiting Community Center, and hope that you will all attend in commemoration of the official ribbon cutting.
