Indianapolis, Ind. — Leadership Indianapolis is accepting registrations for Opportunity Indianapolis. This two-day program is designed for professionals new to the Indianapolis area and those looking for new ways to get involved civically.
Participants will get an introduction to current issues including public safety, arts and culture, education and sports. The fast-paced experience includes visits to interesting locations and conversations with Indianapolis decision makers. Participants will leave with a better sense of what is happening in the city and how they can make an impact.
“As a new resident to Indianapolis, I found the Opportunity Indianapolis program to be beneficial both personally and professionally,” says Brian Gildea, Vice President of Economic Development at the Indy Chamber. “Opportunity Indianapolis provided me access to both the established and up and coming thought leaders throughout the community. It also gave me insight into local philanthropic efforts and helped me get more involved personally.”
Opportunity Indianapolis will be offered Apr. 23-24 and again Aug. 27-28. Registration is open for both sessions, although each program is limited to 55 participants. The cost is $600. A limited number of partial scholarships are available.
