ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – Eagle Creek Aviation Services CEO Matt Hagans and Montgomery Aviation President Dan Montgomery & Vice-President Andi Montgomery, have reached an initial understanding on terms for the purchase of Montgomery Aviation by Eagle Creek Aviation Services. The purchase transaction will include the fixed base operations (FBO) and maintenance facility at Indianapolis Executive Airport (TYQ), the FBO at the Frankfort / Clinton County Airport (FKR), and the FBO at the Grissom Aeroplex. Certain aspects of the transaction will require approval of the airport boards for Indianapolis Executive Airport, Frankfort Airport and Grissom Aeroplex.
“Montgomery Aviation has a long history of providing customer service over the last 25 years at Indy Exec Airport as well as their other Indiana locations. They, along with Hamilton County, have grown the airport from a small rural airport to one of Indy's premier general aviation facilities,” said Eagle Creek Aviation CEO Matt Hagans. “Our intent is to continue to build upon what has been established.”
Customers should expect to see few changes during the transition and will continue to receive top-notch customer service with the value they've come to expect. Eagle Creek Aviation also plans to continue Montgomery's long tradition of community involvement, including the Open House, Fly-In, and Air Race supporting Down Syndrome Indiana scheduled for August 1, 2015.
Eagle Creek Aviation will continue to operate its existing facilities at Eagle Creek Airpark (EYE) in Indianapolis and at Naples Jet Center (APF) in Naples, FL. Plans call for supplementing current maintenance, charter, and aircraft sales operations at Indy Exec, Frankfort, and Grissom with Eagle Creek's team of highly trained professionals.
