Five Indiana Teams Going Dancing
Five Indiana colleges will play in the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship tournament. The University of Notre Dame, Butler University, Valparaiso University, Indiana University and Purdue University will all play in the Midwest Region. The University of Notre Dame, which won the ACC championship, is a three seed, and will play Northeastern University on Thursday, March 19.
Butler University is a six seed, and will play the University of Texas on Thursday, March 19.
Purdue University is a nine seed, and will play the University of Cincinnati on Thursday, March 19.
Indiana University, which was considered “on the bubble” heading into Selection Sunday, is a ten seed, and will play Wichita State University on Friday, March 20.
Valparaiso University is a 13 seed, and will play the University of Maryland on Friday, March 20.
