Nearly 20 communities have been selected to host an ALL-IN Block Party. Indiana Humanities says the purpose of the events is to strengthen Indiana's civic health and encourage Hoosiers to learn more about the state.

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana Humanities has selected 17 communities throughout the state to host an ALL-IN Block Party. Awarded hosts – which include museums and arts organizations, schools and libraries, as well as local government entities – will each receive $1,000 along with supporting materials and prizes to offer participants.

ALL-IN Block Parties are designed to bring people together to participate in a series of challenges that encourage Hoosiers to try new experiences, learn more about Indiana and imagine ways to make Indiana even better. The in-person events are a way to bring the challenges, trivia and facts featured on the ALL-IN website (www.indianahumanities.org/ALL-IN) to life.

“The ALL-IN Block Party is a celebration of Indiana communities that allows everyone to engage in a little friendly competition,” said Keira Amstutz, president and CEO of Indiana Humanities. “It's perfect for families, young professionals, longtime citizens and newcomers, and it’s customized by each host to fit their community.”

Selected organizations and cities include:

– Athenaeum Foundation, Indianapolis

– Centerville Public Library, Centerville

– City of Bloomington Council of Community Accessibility, Bloomington
