Council Approves Support For Mid-States Corridor

Subscribe NowThe Jasper City Council has approved using public funds to help build a highway to connect Dubois County to I-69. WJTS-TV in Jasper reports the money will support pre-engineering work and a cost study. Project Manager Hank Menke says groups in Florida and Texas are also partnering on the project. He says private funding will also help support the effort for the next two or three years.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has not committed any money to the project.
