A Clark County business has been recognized for its spirits. Huberʼs Starlight Distillery has received top awards at the 2nd Annual American Craft Spirits Association Conference in Texas.

STARLIGHT, Ind. – Huber’s Starlight Distillery recently received top awards from the 2nd Annual American Craft Spirits Association (ACSA) Conference in Austin, Texas. The winners were announced on Sunday evening, February 15 at an Awards Dinner during the ACSA Convention and Vendor Trade Show.

Over three hundred entries were submitted from over 200 craft spirits distilleries from across the country in six main categories: Whiskey, Brandy, Rum, Gin, Distilled Spirits Specialty (DSS), and Vodka. Jason Heiligenberg had this to say about the distillery’s recent awards, “With the incredible growth in craft distilling during the past decade, we are excited that these results affirm our determined efforts to remain in the vanguard for consistent quality.”

Huber’s Starlight Distillery received 9 awards which included gold medals for their Reserve Brandy, Vodka, and Aged Blueberry Liqueur. Silver medals were awarded for the Reserve Apple Brandy, Grappa, Raspberry Infusion, and 1843 Gin. And finally, Bronze medals were awarded to Applejack and Blueberry Port.

The Starlight Distillery was also proud to bring home two of the highest distinctions of the competition by receiving the “Best of Class” for their Vodka and Blueberry Liqueur. Ted Huber had this to say about the Best of Class awards, “It’s a great honor to be recognized among such a distinguished group of craft distillers. With competition from over 200 distillers across the country, I am proud of the dedication our distilling team has shown through our recent product expansion and their constant commitment to our mission of producing quality spirits.”
