It passed 10-2 with an amendment that includes moving liquor “behind-the-counter” at certain retail outlets. During today's testimony in the House Chamber, Indiana Chamber Vice President of Economic Development, Small Business Policy and Federal Relations Cam Carter joined multiple others that spoke in favor of Sunday sales, but against the amendments.
The bill as a whole would allow any authorized retailer to sell alcohol between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. local times on Sundays.
