STATEHOUSE, Ind. – Indiana House Speaker Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis) is presenting House Bill (HB)1002, Ethics Reform, to the Government and Regulatory Reform Committee on Tuesday at 10:30am in room 156- A of the Indiana Statehouse. Minority Leader Scott Pelath (D-Michigan City) and State Representatives Greg Steuerwald (R- Avon) and Clyde Kersey (D- Terre Haute) coauthored the legislation.
“The purpose of this bill is to increase transparency and disclosure at all levels of state government. Our goal is to give Hoosiers confidence that their elected officials are working hard to renew public trust,” said Speaker Bosma. “It is my hope that the General Assembly continues to garner public trust by increasing our transparency initiatives.”
