Amazon Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) will officially open its first staffed customer order pickup and drop-off location Tuesday at Purdue University. The school announced a partnership with Amazon in August designed to save students up to 30 percent on textbooks.

West Lafayette, Ind. — Purdue University and Amazon will officially open Amazon@Purdue, Amazon’s first-ever staffed customer order pickup and drop-off location, Tuesday (Feb. 3).

Purdue President Mitch Daniels and Paul Ryder, Amazon vice president of media and student programs, will speak at the opening, scheduled for 11 a.m. in the Amazon@Purdue location in Krach Leadership Center.
