INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – TinderBox, a leader in sales productivity technologies, announced today the appointment of ExactTarget Co-Founder Scott Dorsey as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Dorsey joins the TinderBox board after leading the meteoric growth of marketing technology leader ExactTarget for nearly 14 years from its inception to initial public offering and through its acquisition by Salesforce.

Under Dorsey’s leadership as chairman and chief executive officer, ExactTarget expanded to five continents, evolved from a single product to a multi-product platform and successfully completed one of the largest software-as-a-service initial public offerings on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:ET).

Dorsey is an acclaimed business and civic leader who has earned numerous accolades for leadership, including Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, American Business Awards Executive of the Year, TechPoint Trailblazer in Technology, BtoB Magazine’s Who’s Who List, MS Society Hope Award, Central Indiana Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame, two-time recipient of the Indiana Sagamore of the Wabash, Indiana Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of the Year, Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 and Junior Achievement’s Best and Brightest. He is a graduate of Indiana University and earned an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Dorsey assumes the chairmanship from TinderBox Co-Founder Mike Fitzgerald who remains a member of the company’s board of directors.
The news of Dorsey’s appointment follows the announcement of TinderBox’s record 2014 performance, during which time the company doubled annual recurring revenue, added more than 200 new customers and doubled its workforce.
