Indiana University Athletics has announced an online ticketing and fundraising deal with a California company. The agreement with Paciolan Inc. also involves email marketing and data analysis technology. January 7, 2015
IRVINE, Cal. and BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (December 9, 2014) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, fundraising and sales automation solutions in college athletics, today announced it has entered into a partnership with Indiana University Bloomington (Indiana). Indiana will leverage Paciolan's industry-leading ticketing, fundraising and marketing solutions, as well as the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Ticketing Intelligence platforms. Paciolan is a subsidiary of the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor.

Paciolan's all-in-one online ticketing and fundraising system enables Indiana to efficiently sell tickets and process donations in real-time. The eCommerce site empowers Indiana to manage its individual brand and provide fans and donors with online services, including account management, the ability to pick their own seats via interactive venue maps, print at home and mobile 2D barcode tickets, ticket transfers, and a user-friendly site for students to create and manage accounts and continue to use the platform post-graduation.

With a focus to develop a holistic view of every interaction on campus and further increase customer service, Indiana will leverage Paciolan's CRM platform to help expand the athletic department's initiatives to better serve fans and donors. The solution provides staff with a 360-degree view of each fan, customer and donor interaction, including ticket purchases, donations and interaction history, as well as preferences and account information.
Indiana will implement Paciolan's Ticketing Intelligence solution. The robust and time-saving reporting tool will allow staff to better analyze sales, fan and donor data, compare ticket sales and fund development by seasons and years, and increase the ability to adapt programs to maximize revenue via sophisticated data analysis.

Additionally, Indiana will implement Paciolan's PACmail email marketing solution to expand its communication to Hoosiers fans and broaden the marketing reach of the athletic department. PACmail will enable Indiana to tailor segmented messages to fans and increase customer awareness of ticket sales, upcoming events and promotions.
