News Release

Indianapolis, Ind. — The City of Indianapolis and OurHealth, a provider of onsite and near-site primary care clinics for businesses of all sizes, are partnering to provide healthcare services to thousands of eligible city employees and their families who are enrolled in the consumer-driven health plan (CDHP). OurHealth's network of MyClinic locations around Indianapolis will be available for city employees to use for primary care, urgent care, wellness services including health coaching, pharmacy, general laboratory needs and referral services.

“Our employees are the City's greatest asset,” Mayor Ballard said. “Healthy employees are more engaged and successful in their work. This partnership with OurHealth will offer expanded service at convenient locations around the city and will help our employees and their families make health a priority.”

OurHealth currently operates three MyClinic locations, which eligible city employees will have access to, but plans to add four more primary care clinics around Indianapolis in 2015.

The current MyClinic locations are:

–MyClinic @ PNC at 155 W. Washington St., Suite 155

–MyClinic @ Traders Point at 5630 W. 86th St., Suite 150

–MyClinic @ 96th St. at 4161 E. 96th St., Suite 100

“Providing access to affordable healthcare in a convenient way encourages employees to put their healthcare needs first to lead healthier lives and become more productive employees,” Dr. Jeff Wells, president of OurHealth said. “Our overall holistic approach has proven that, and our results are helping to change the way that healthcare is delivered.”

In May 2014, OurHealth committed to investing $20 million in an expansion that would increase the size of its Indianapolis headquarters and create 450 new jobs by 2018. OurHealth currently operates primary care clinics for businesses in Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

“Employers of all sizes are investing in their employees and there is no better investment than in a person's health,” Wells added. “Employees at the City of Indianapolis will be able to experience the same quality healthcare services that OurHealth has been providing to other companies for years, with successful results in making employees healthier.”
